Some years ago the products lasted longer. I heard my parents many times saying: this washing machine has lasted ten years. Nowadays it is impossible to find a product with the same characteristics.
As people didn't have to buy electrical appliances the business owner didn't win money. So they searcha solution. The solution was to make a chip into the machine and when some years pass, this chip will break the product. And we will need to buy a new product. With this technique the businessman will win more. And the cycle of the economy will never stop.
What happens whith the product that doesen't work?
Computers, printers, mobile phones, refrigerators ... that don't work, the state sends them to Ghana. In this country there is a city named Agbogbloshie, it is a neighbourhood that is a dumping ground for electronic waste from Europe and North America.
