NEUSHWANSTEIN CASTLE

Seven weeks after the death of King Ludwig II in 1886 Neuschwanstein Castle opened to the public . The king had built the castle to get away from public life. Neuschwanstein is today one of the most visited castles in Europe. Approximately 1.4 million people annually visit the castle.
It was constructed with a Medieval appearance, but it incorporated numerous modernities for the time. It had hot air central heating, electricity, hot and cold running water, automatic drains and even a telephone line. The Castle has paintings inspired by the operas of Richard Wagner, whom the king admired a lot. It inspired Walt Disney to the creation of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The interior was amazing. It is very beautiful. If I lived there I would never leave the castle. It is like a film.
