Years ago, of a land called shattered North America emerged Panem, a city formed by thirteen districts surrounding the Capitol. The Capitol, to remind the survivors districts who was in charge, created the hunger games, a cruel game of survival which is broadcast on television and everyone is forced to see. In it, twenty-four adolescents aged between twelve and eighteen, a boy and a girl for each district, are randomly selected to participate in the games. The objective is to fight to death between them, since only one of twenty-four can win. The sister of Katniss is chosen. She offers to take his place. She wents to Arena fighting against twenty-three taxes more.
